With a vision to enable intelligent working of digital products in order to enrich lives, LG Electronics Inc seeks to recruit the right candidate to fill the position of Human Resources ManagerReporting to: Business HeadContract Term: PermanentJob Summary: Planning, directing, and coordinating human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintaining core functions such as recruitment & selection, career pathing & development, performance management, employee compensation, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance.Location: - Lagos, Nigeria Key Responsibilities/Skills: - The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Administering compensation, benefits, performance management systems, and career development programs.
• Setting up the guidelines for Interviewing, Selecting, & Recruiting.
• Planning and conducting new employee orientation & induction program to foster positive attitude toward organisational objectives.
• Allocating human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.
• Providing current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, salaries, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
• Performing difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes and administering disciplinary procedures.
• Analysing and modifying compensation and benefits policies to establish competitiveness and to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Serving as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
• Planning, directing, supervising, and coordinating work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
• Training and organising training programmes to address employee competency gaps.
Other Requirements: -
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Applicants should have at least 5 years experience / exposure with principal MNC in the Service / FMCG /FMCD sector in HR / Planning department.
• Applicants should have a degree in Human Resource Management, Humanities, Social Sciences or Business Administration. An MBA or Masters in industrial relations will be an added advantage.
