IJESA SOCIETY, LAGOS APPLICATION FOR 2008 EDUCATION GRANTS

The Ijesa Society (a not-for-profit and non-partisan Society of Ijesa professionals) through its Education Committee, awards annual Education Grants to indigent but brilliant indigenes of Ijesaland enrolled in undergraduate degree programmes in Nigerian universities:

There will be two Grants (2No.) to each of the (6) Local Government Areas in Ijesaland.This is a call for applications from eligible candidates for the 2008 Awards.
EligibilityA Candidate must
1. Be a confirmed indigene of any of the six Local Government Areas in Ijesaland.
2. Be a registered 300 level student in any Nigerian University in the current session.
3. Have a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a scale of 5.00.
4. Clearly be an indigent student.
Application FormsApplication Forms are obtainable from the office of the Executive Chairman of each Local Government Council in Ijesaland from April 16th 2008.
All completed Application Forms are to be submitted to:Professor Duro AjeyalemiChairman, Education Committee, Ijesa SocietyC/o Dean's Office,Faculty of Education,University of Lagos,Akoka - Lagos.
