Nigeria LNG Limited setup to harness Nigeria's vast natural gas resources and produce Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) for export seeks to engage personnel for immediate employment in the following positions:



A. AUDIT COORDINATOR
REF: CAA/2008/OOl
Location: Lagos
The Job: The appointee will be required to supervise and assist audit staff involved in audit and ensure that audits address areas of concern in relation to the goals, performance, objectives and impact of a variety of economic, financial and managerial programmes to conform with company policies, procedures, and sound business practices, where no policies exists. He/she shall plan, direct, monitor and supervise the activities of the human capital, strategic and finance audit teams.

The Person: The right candidate should:
• Possess a bachelor's degree obtained at a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) together with a professional certification - ACA or ACCA or CIA. CISA qualification will be an added advantage
• Possess at least 8 years' post-qualification work experience, with at least 5 years' audit experience in a reputable. organization
• Be knowledgeable in the standards, principles, procedures and techniques of auditing as well as accounting and financial reporting standards.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external parties
• Be a good team player and able to work in a multicultural environment
• Possess supervisory and coaching skills
• Not be more than 40 years old.

B. SENIOR AUDITOR
REF: CAA/2008/002
Location: Lagos
The Job: The appointee will be required to plan, execute and report on audit exercises.

The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Plan risk-based engagements, develop audit procedures and programmes and identity client controls while providing assurances on the adequacy of internal control.

Carry out audits, assist management to perform forensic investigation into suspected cases of fraud and perform consultancy services to management in line with Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) standards
Determine, plan and supervise the work of auditing professionals and subordinates in the performance of internal audits as well as visit and act as point of contact to staff undergoing audit.

The Person: The right candidate should:
• Possess a bachelor's degree obtained at a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) with a professional certification (ACA, ACCA or CIA)
• Possess at least 6 years' post-qualification work experience, of which at least 5 years would have been spent in the audit department in a reputable organization
- Be knowledgeable in the standards and techniques of auditing, as well as accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism, discipline and able communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external parties
- Be a good team player, with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Not be more than 35 years old.
