Oxfam GB Nigeria Campaigns Manager / Advocacy Adviser / Campaign officer Vacancies

Nigeria may be rich in natural resources, but it’s still one of the lowest socio-economic countries when it comes to poverty, health, gender and issues of governance. Oxfam GB in Nigeria has recently developed the National Change strategy (2008-13) which will promote pro-poor governance.

The focus of the strategy is towards improved employment and livelihoods, effective health systems, increased women’s leadership and to advance pro-poor governance through Nigeria’s regional and international leadership role. This work will be done within the Oxfam international worldwide federation.

Oxfam GB Nigeria needs an experienced Campaigns Manager (INT2836) to lead a team who’ll bring about change.

You’ll develop, manage and implement long-term advocacy and campaign strategies. Influences the people who turn suggestions into action.

The Advocacy Adviser (INT2837) will work closely with Nigeria civil society organization to plan and deliver strategies to achieve change in policies and practices at different levels.

You’re confident, knowledgeable, can manage relationships and have the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.

Above all, you take an assured approach to complex decision-making that can genuinely bring positive change in Nigeria.

The Campaigns Officer (INT2847) will support the Manager and the team, by giving dedicated project support.

With information coming in all the time, you’ll collate, interpret and advise.

Your programme and administration skills are matched by your enthusiasm as you expertly prioritize your diverse workload.
